This week’s pie is a fun one!  Sprinkles and summer are best friends and this simple little pie is perfect for any party–birthday or otherwise.

{Week 32} Sprinkled Birthday Cake Pie

1 8oz container cool whip
12 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. birthday cake mix
1 graham cracker pie crust, store-bought or homemade
Lots of Rainbow sprinkles, for decorating

DIRECTIONS
Cream softened cream cheese and sugar and stir until completely combined and no clumps remain. Add in cool whip until combined. Fold in birthday cake mix. Pour mixture into prepared pie crust, smoothing over top with a rubber spatula. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until firm, at least 6 hours. Top with sprinkles and celebrate!

me oh my pie {week 31}

Honest, this pie couldn't be simpler. Pretty in pink and  ya'll it is flavored with kool-aid.  Before you turn up your nose, remember, summertime fun doesn't have to be extravagant–it's supposed to be about slowing and being more present, right? In fact, this is the perfect pie to make with kiddos, let them choose the flavor!

Keep the ingredients to make this pie on had for a last minute picnic or pitch-in dinner for a no sweat, stress free dessert you can whip up in a jiffy.  Just what the end of summer calls for…enjoy!

{Week 31} Strawberry Lemonade Kool-Aid Pie

• 1 graham cracker crust or shortbread crust (homemade or store bought)
• 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip
• 1 package Kool-Aid drink mix (flavor of your choice) (I choose strawberry lemonade)

In a bowl mix together sweetened condensed milk and kool-aid packet. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour into graham cracker crust. Place in fridge for 4 hours or in freezer until set and ready to serve. Garnish with fruit and whipped cream to be extra fancy!
